Baily Pendergrass III is a well-known Berkeley personality and also has this fabulous band that plays freaky B-Town funk! I miss laying it down with those guys.

This company is funny as hell and are not afraid to make fun of everybody, especially themselves. I was honored to be a part of the wildly successful “Liberties Taken” show.

Wonderful Klezmer band that will make you not want to sit down till long after they’re finished. I recorded their feature album “Ceci n’est pas klezmer”.

This was a wonderfully fun Brazilian band, led by three brothers, that was very popular in the Bay Area Brazilian community. Sometimes there were up to 14 people on stage!

Perhaps a prequel to Blue Bone Express, it was the first jazz band I formed and led, leaning on the inspiration I received after my first visit to New Orleans.

An extremely talented and vital collective of funny-people. It was non-stop laughter show after show when I was part of “Killing My Lobster Gets Some Action”.

The Tomorrow is Ours Trio (first a duo with Kevin “K11″ Brunetti) was a highly innovative group attempting to cause a stir while Acid Jazz was hot in San Francisco. We were trying to put the acid in the “acid jazz”. To bad it never got anywhere. But we’ll surely be back together someday to explore the incredible energy that was unleashed.
